I was reading a kid’s book on earthquakes (as one does) and learned that 90% of the world’s earthquakes happen on the Ring of Fire (the plate boundaries that circle the Pacific Ocean.) That number seemed really high to me, so I googled it.
It turns out to be true (don’t doubt children’s science books.)
